Job summary
A community support organization in Birkenhead seeks a Complex Needs Practitioner to assist individuals facing homelessness. You will be part of an outreach team dedicated to connecting with vulnerable individuals across the Wirral. This full-time role requires flexible approaches to outreach in various locations to effectively support those in need. The ideal candidate should demonstrate empathy and the ability to engage positively with the community.
Qualifications
- Experience in outreach work with vulnerable populations.

- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with individuals experiencing homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals experiencing rough sleeping across the Wirral.
- Work as part of a dedicated team of outreach workers.
- Provide flexible outreach support at community locations.

Contract: Permanent.
Term: Full-Time.
Salary: £30,232.38.
Hours per week: 37.5 hours.
Location: Whetstone Lane, Birkenhead.

YMCA Wirral are recruiting a Complex Needs Practitioner to support individuals experiencing rough sleeping across the Wirral. You will work as part of a small and dedicated team of outreach workers seeking out and supporting those in our community experiencing homelessness. Provide outreach support, working flexibly across community locations with a central hub based at their head office in Birkenhead.
