Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to join its Tiny Steps team. This full-time role involves delivering a home-visiting programme to support families facing challenges during their parenting journey. The successful candidate will possess significant experience in family support and the ability to offer clinical advice. Organizational support includes a comprehensive training package and the opportunity for flexible working arrangements. This position offers a salary ranging from £31,049 to £37,796 per annum with a commitment to family well-being.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in supporting families.
  • Significant experience working in clients' own homes.
  • Significant experience with promoting and enabling change in families.
  • Experience with programmes like Solihull Approach, Emotion Coaching, 5ToThrive.
  • Experience supporting and promoting breastfeeding relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an intensive home-visiting, semi-structured programme of support and education for families.
  • Create bespoke and individualised interventions to meet the unique needs of families.
  • Partner with the local Family Nurse Partnership team.

Skills

Confidence to offer clinical advice and supervision to experienced and senior staff
Empathy and flexibility

Education

Community Nursery Nurse or Paediatric Nurse
Degree Level or Equivalent Experience
