Job summary
An LGBT community organization in London seeks a Children Services Practitioner Level 3 to support children who have experienced sexual abuse. You will assess therapeutic needs and provide essential interventions while working collaboratively with parents and caregivers. Salary ranges from £34,582 to £38,425, complemented by an Inner London Weighting of £3,366 annually.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification in child development or relevant field.
- Experience in therapeutic intervention and support.
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds, particularly within LGBT communities.
Responsibilities
- Assess therapeutic needs of children and young people.
- Provide appropriate interventions for children who have been sexually abused.
- Support parents and caregivers in the intervention process.
- Conduct bespoke interventions with siblings as needed.
