Applications are invited for a Consultant Radiologist to join a friendly, forward-thinking team of 30 Consultant Radiologists at the Royal United Hospital Bath;
Consultant Radiologist with a Specialist Interest in Gastrointestinal Radiology (10 PA’sганда)
The post is full time but anyone wishing to work part time is also encouraged to apply. The post includes participation in the evening and weekend on‑call rota. Outsourcing is used for most cross‑sectional emergency work performed after 20:00. Home reporting is available to all Consultants.

This is a new post fuori expansion of the radiology department and in particular gastrointestinal imaging services and research. In addition to a gastrointestinal radiology specialist interest the candidate must possess skills, particularly cross‑sectional, applicable to a general department. মাত্র Expertise in gastrointestinal imaging, particularly hepatobili Reporter liver, pancreatic and luminal cancer imaging and acute abdominal imaging is required. The appointee will help to deliver the weekly Upper GI, Lower GI and CUP MDTs. There is an expectation that the appointee will contribute to the symptomatic and Bowel Cancer Screening Programme CT Colonography service. The appointee will undertake abdominal US in general US lists and contribute to the fluoroscopy service. Expertise in percutaneous biopsy and abdominal drainage is desirable. An ability to contribute to non‑cancer luminal GI Radiology such as Small Bowel imaging, perianal fistula MRI and MRDP would be desirable, but an alternative second subspecialty interest would also be considered.
