A leading food service company is seeking an Assistant Cook at Lydgate Junior School to help prepare and cook nutritious meals in a vibrant school environment. This part-time position offers 25 hours a week during school term time. Responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, following hygiene standards, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Ideal candidates should have an interest in food preparation and basic food safety knowledge. The role offers flexible working hours and a supportive workplace culture.

What you’ll be doing…
As anAssistant Cook, you’ll support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking food to meet high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. You’ll assist with daily kitchen tasks to help ensure smooth and efficient meal service.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday | School Hours | 25 hours per week | Term Time Only
