Job summary
A chemical manufacturing company in the North East of England is seeking a Maintenance Technician with over 3 years of experience in a COMAH environment. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have an electrical qualification and be skilled in reading technical drawings. Excellent communication skills are essential. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate would have experience in a maintenance role on a COMAH upper tier chemical manufacturing plant.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Expedite maintenance activities according to safety and business objectives.
- Supervise and assist maintenance team members.
- Provide troubleshooting support for electrical issues.
