The Assistant Project Manager Higher Apprentice role sits within National Grid’s Infrastructure Delivery (ID) team, which leads the execution of major energy projects across the UK. These projects include building and upgrading substations and transmission lines, essential components to ensure electricity and gas are delivered safely and reliably. By working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help drive the UK’s energy transition, contributing to National Grid’s sustainability goals.
This role is based in the Bristol office and offers flexible, hybrid working. You will be required to travel to site locations, including regular overnight stays away from home. Annually you’re expected to travel more than 10,000 miles for business across England and Wales. You’ll also attend National Grid Training Centre at Eakring, Newark. A company car is provided due to travel and site presence requirements.

Starting salary is £31,310 for this apprenticeship, with annual increases.
