A waste management company in Walpole seeks a Supervisor for Green Waste Composting and Wood Processing. The role involves overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of supervisory experience in relevant environments and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Location: Walpole
Hours of work: 45 hours per week
Monday to Friday, with approximately 1 in 3 Saturdays paid at time and a half
Start and finish time: 0645, 1615 hrs
The role holder will organise and supervise the daily operation of the Green Waste Composting, Wood Processing and Street Sweeping Treatment areas, ensuring full health, safety and environmental compliance. They will lead a small team, drive continuous improvement in productivity and plant availability, and maintain the quality of all sub-products in line with site permits and established protocols.
