Job summary
A leading infrastructure solutions company in the UK is looking for a Quantity Surveyor responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and experience within construction. Responsibilities include preparing reports, liaising with project teams, and ensuring compliance with contracts. They should hold an RICS/CICES accredited degree and demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Notable years post graduate experience in a commercial role within the construction industry.
- Experience of drafting contractual correspondence and preparing payment certificates.
- Strong legal, contractual and construction knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects in accordance with contracts.
- Prepare monthly reports on value, cost, profit/loss, and budget.
- Provide contractual advice to project teams.
