We’re expanding our Counter/Yard team at our Tonbridge Branch and are looking for a dependable Counter Sales/Yard Operative to help us continued delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.

We are looking for a Counter Sales/Yard Operative to join our team in our Tonbridge Branch. Based both at the sales counter and in the yard, you will become an integral part of a busy branch.

Dealing with sales enquiries on a face to face and over the telephone basis as well as assisting customers within our yard.

You will represent the branch and assist with the growth of the business working as a team to exceed sales targets.

You will ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular basis.

You may also be required to help in other roles within the branch including restocking the shop and stock control.

• Good building product knowledge gained within the building industry or builders’ merchant experience (Preferred).
• Good Customer Service.
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with different types of customer.
• Comfortable operating a computer based sales processing system (full training will be given).
• Good telephone manner.
• Friendly, articulate, customer focused.
• The successful candidate must be proactive in their approach towards sales and a good communicator.

Week:1 Monday to Friday 7:00 - 16:30

Week:2 Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30 Saturday 07:00-11:00
