We are expanding our UK operation in Woking and are seeking a technically skilled professional to join our team. If you have strong background in mechanical, electrical, and water system engineering, with excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset, we would love to hear from you.

At GWS, you will be part of an international, dynamic, and collaborative environment. We value professionalism, initiative, and personal growth, encouraging every team member to explore and maximize their potential.

The Mechanical Product Support Representative will play a key role in providing technical and installation support for our different product lines. You will work closely with customers, installers, and the sales team to ensure successful installations, resolve technical issues, and uphold GWS’ high standards for performance and reliability. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager for Quatreau Manufacturing Ltd., and is based in Woking, UK.

Role and Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep technical knowledge of all GWS products and their usage, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
  • Read, interpret, and apply water flow diagrams, wiring schematics, and system blueprints.
  • Provide on‑site and remote technical support to installers, service partners, and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, architects and engineers to ensure correct installation and system integration.
  • Provide sales staff and customers with technical support for new installations.
  • Conduct site pre‑assessments, system commissioning, and post‑installation audits.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues related to plumbing, electronics, and water flow performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including weekly service logs, installation reports and product performance data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on product performance and installation processes.
  • Manage and maintain spare part inventory and assist with preparation of technical displays for exhibitions and regional trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Sales Support and Engineering for cross‑functional technical needs.
  • Participate in internal technical sales and business training programmes to stay up to date with product innovations and industry standards.
  • Manage travel expenses against set budget for site visits, installations, or training, as infrequent global travel will be required, mostly in Europe and the Middle East.
Your Attributes:
  • Candidates from an MNC background would be a definite advantage.
  • A technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering will be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in technical installations, servicing, or commissioning, preferably in the water treatment or smart tap industry.
  • Solid understanding of water flow systems, plumbing design, electrical wiring, and fluid dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English are required. Additional languages are advantageous.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer literate with familiarity in CRM and technical reporting systems.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple field and office‑based tasks.
  • Knowledge about pressure pumps and tanks would be an added advantage.
  • Previous knowledge of multifunction taps would be an added advantage.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Free to travel for global business (infrequent) with no travel restrictions.
What we offer:
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Pension Scheme.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Supportive, collaborative working environment.
