Job summary
A leading food production company in Northern Ireland is looking for a Technical Manager to oversee quality and compliance within their facility. You'll manage the Quality Management System, lead audits, and ensure products meet high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in food production quality roles, along with relevant qualifications in Food Safety and HACCP.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical or quality role within food production.
- Hands-on experience with BRCGS v9 and major retailer standards.
- Knowledge of food regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS Food Standard v9 and customer requirements.
- Lead the site through 3rd party and customer audits, managing corrective actions.
- Maintain HACCP plans and oversee site compliance with regulatory standards.

- Manage supplier approvals, risk assessments, and documentation
- Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution
- Coordinate internal audits and close out non-conformances
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical or quality role within food production
- Hands‑on experience with BRCGS v9 and major retailer standards
- Knowledge of food regulatory standards
- Third‑level qualification in Food Safety / Technology
- Level 3 HACCP qualification
