Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly team on a 12-month fixed term basis for maternity cover. Situated in picturesque Surrey, this purpose-built facility offers a unique and rewarding environment for the right candidate.
The practice is a busy, dedicated small animal orthopaedic referral facility, accredited by the RCVS PSS. It is a state-of-the-art site with two operating theatres and an on-site CT scanner, located in a beautiful rural setting. The team includes an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and an RCVS Advanced Practitioner. The nursing team is led by an experienced Head Nurse and comprises eleven RVNs and two VNAs, all committed to providing exceptional patient and client care.
The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £31,000 to £34,000, depending on experience. Full-time hours are available, with part-time considered. Shifts run from 7:15 am to 7:00 pm, with a fair share of late shifts and a 1 in 6 weekend on-call rotation, with no out-of-hours duties required.
Six weeks of paid holiday; a £600 CPD allowance with three days off for training; comprehensive health and wellbeing contributions through Health Shield.
