OakRay Care is a family run business on the Isle of Wight and in the New Forest, specialising in the provision of residential care for the elderly. We run high-quality care homes and are committed to making a positive difference to our residents, in every way. We currently operate four care homes; three on the Isle of Wight and one in Fordingbridge, in the New Forest.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team at our Ryde care home.

Fairhaven Care Home provides high quality residential and dementia care services for up to 21 elderly residents, and has a CQC rating of Good.

Skills and abilities required:

  • you must have a minimum of NVQ2 in Health & Social Care
  • be able to administer and record medication
  • you should have the ability to be able to lead a team, and have good communication skills
  • you should also be flexible in your working hours

A competitive salary is offered, which will be discussed at the interview. This is a full time position of 36 hours a week.
