Overview

We currently have an opportunity for a Care Assistant to join Eothen Homes. The successful candidate will be based at our Wallsend home, working 36 hours per week, 12 hours per day over 3 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support and personal care to residents of the home.
• Enable and support people to remain as independent as possible by adopting a person-centred approach in an environment that feels like home.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy and be committed to improving the quality of life for older people.

Qualifications and experience

• Experience of working in a care setting could be an advantage but is not essential.
• An enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check will be required.
