Cambridge Manufacturing is the key manufacturing site for CARTERS Frame and Truss and Cassette Flooring business in the Waikato region. As one of our fast growing manufacturing sites, the delivery of efficient and effective training programmes, whilst maintaining our Health and Safety standards is paramount to our continued success and growth.
In order to achieve this goal we require a proactive and well organised candidate who is comfortable to promote and lead the ongoing development of a Health & Safety culture within the manufacturing plant through coaching team leaders/supervisors and developing staff in risk management. You will drive continuous improvement of H&S standards to ensure understanding of safety accountabilities and compliance. You will deliver and coordinate H&S training while effectively managing risks in the business through hazard reporting and ensuring corrective actions are taken while providing recommendations on how to eliminate and minimise risks across the site. You will conduct H&S risk assessments for existing risks and new capital projects and provide advice on hazard control.
