The Responsive Repairs Unit are responsible for the maintenance of all Cardiff Council domestic housing stock, including Temporary Accommodation, Community Living Complexes, hostels, individual rooms and communal areas of blocks of flats.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing & Communities Service Area for a Technical Manager within Responsive Repairs. The successful candidate will manage and support the performance of staff and contactors ensuring high levels of customer service is maintained.

What We Are Looking For From You

The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and experience of working within a housing maintenance related environment. You will have a strong track record of managing resources effectively and providing excellent outcomes for customers.

The service area has recently undergone a significant number of changes, and the right individual will need to be able to embrace and deliver change quickly in order to meet the requirements of the service.
