We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Club Steward who shall be experienced in the operation of an establishment with a large customer base, members lounge and concert room serving alcoholic beverages and snack products to the membership. Will have excellent references and a proven track record in the hospitality sector. The Club Steward will play a crucial role in continuing and maintaining the current ambiance within the Club. The role is to operate all aspects of the Club bars and cellar on a day to day basis and provide a pleasant and relaxing environment to the members.

The position requires a proactive individual who can manage tasks efficiently while contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the establishment.

Responsibilities

• The management of all bar staff to include rotors, staff hours, discipline and training.
• Will be responsible for all monies taken over the bars.
• Maintaining a reliable stock within the Club bars and cellar.
• Ordering of all stock.
• Stocking the bars and ensuring stock rotation
• Liaison with brewery representatives
• The cleaning of beer lines to ensure quality of product.
• The movement of all stock and stock security within the cellar
• Ensure all cellar and bar equipment is in good working order by liaison with contractors and suppliers
• Liaise with and provide all relevant information to the Stock Taker.
• The ordering of all consumables I.E. Hand towels, bar fruit etc.
• Responding to alarm calls and breakdowns out of hours
• Inspecting and raising maintenance issues within the building.
• Health and Safety inspections

• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in the Club environment.
• Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with members and colleagues.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
