Job summary

A leading event management company in Coventry is seeking Event Stewards to ensure the safety and experience of visitors at various events. You will welcome attendees, assist with queries, check passes, and direct foot traffic. Training will be provided, making this role suitable for beginners as well. The hourly pay is £12.21, and work will be casual with varying shifts.

Qualifications

  • Experience working as an Event Steward is advantageous.
  • Good level of verbal and written English is required.
  • Ability to react calmly in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all visitors to the venue.
  • Deal with queries and offer additional information regarding the event.
  • Check access passes where applicable.
  • Help direct foot traffic.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure smooth running of the event.
  • Keep the safety team informed.

Overview

Location: Coventry, West Midlands, United Kingdom

We are looking for Event Stewards to work across Coventry and the Midlands, and join us as part of our Event Stewarding team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at a multitude of events such as sporting events, concerts, and festivals, including Coventry FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Derby County, Manchester United, Everton FC and more.

Stadium are always looking at upskilling our staff, to give them and our clients the best possible service we can!

Stadium serves its clients with one goal in mind – keeping people safe. We consistently achieve this goal through the three key parts of our business: Event Services, Training, and temporary Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM). We pride ourselves on providing a world-class level of customer service and are looking for industry-leading experts to join us in experiencing working at what we like to call, the world's special moments!

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming all visitors to the venue
  • Dealing with any queries and offering additional information regarding the event
  • Checking access passes (where applicable)
  • Helping to direct flow of foot traffic
  • Offer an excellent level of customer service to ensure the smooth running of the event
  • Being the eyes and ears of the event and ensuring the safety team have the information they require
Skills & Qualifications
  • All skills below are advantageous however not essential as we will provide all training to support successful candidates
  • Experience working as an Event Steward is advantageous
  • You must have a good level of verbal and written English
  • The ability to react calmly in high pressured situations

Shift & Benefits

Shift times will vary on each event; early and late shifts will be available. All work is offered on a casual basis giving you flexibility to work around your current commitments.

Rate of Pay

Depending on the event you work, the hourly rate is £12.21
