Overview

Seeking Dynamic Event Stewards for High-End Events. Smile Events & Media is a high-end events company specialising in interactive photo, video and media experiences for clients ranging from major corporations to luxury private events. We offer cutting-edge AI-driven experiences, custom décor, and bespoke event technology. This is a freelance, part-time role at the heart of London’s most exciting events.

The Role

We are looking for Event Stewards and Photographers/Videographers to join our freelance team. The role is combined, offering a variety of work that keeps things fresh and challenging.

As an Event Attendant, you will

• Collect equipment from our office in Egham and transport it to the event venue.
• Set up and dismantle our high-tech photo booths and event equipment.
• Engage with guests, guiding them through the experience and ensuring they have a fantastic time.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Smile Events with a professional, enthusiastic, and client-focused approach.
• Quickly troubleshoot any technical issues with remote support from our team.

As a Photographer/Videographer, you will

• Capture key moments at events, including corporate headshots, red-carpet arrivals, speeches, and more.
• Collaborate with clients on-site to meet their needs and vision.
• Deliver professionally edited photos and videos within agreed-upon timelines.

Schedule, Pay, and Training

• Pay: Competitive rates. Event Attendant roles typically pay £90-£180 per event, with additional compensation for travel and expenses. Photographer/Videographer rates are negotiated per event.
• Hours: Flexible and freelance. The majority of events take place in the evenings and on weekends. You choose which events to take on.
• Training: Full, hands-on training on all equipment and processes will be provided.

Note on Training

Initial training and shadowing are part of the final interview stage and are unpaid. This allows us to assess your suitability for the role while ensuring you fully understand the requirements.
