Assystem have a proud heritage gained over decades both in the UK and overseas, (delivering, supporting, managing) some of the most complex engineering projects in decommissioning, repurposing legacy assets and key new build projects such as Hinkley Point C.## Job Description**About the role**The Utilities Integration role is based in Helensburgh and will lead on utility (power, water and communication services) stakeholder engagement and management to ensure integration between Programme and site stakeholders through systematic identification and analysis of stakeholders, the planning and conduct of interactions to engage and communicate with them, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests, ensuring their involvement throughout the project lifecycle.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead utility stakeholder analysis for our clients major project and define effective communication channels* Coordinate engagement between site leads and Project Managers, ensuring compliance and base processes are met* Develop and maintain utility stakeholder profiles, mapping evolving project needs and influence* Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities (workshops, forums, meetings), acting as the single point of contact* Ensure timely communication of surveys, outages, diversions, and new connections across all project phases* Identify and manage risks to the client site, including mitigation actions* Support capture of stakeholder needs and development of user requirements**Essential Skills & Experience*** Working knowledge of utilities or utility stakeholder management in a project delivery environment* Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams**Technical Competencies*** Stakeholder Management* Risk & Issue Management* Governance**Desirable Skills & Experience*** Experience managing stakeholders at project management level* Exposure to government or public-sector project delivery (advantageous but not essential)**Qualifications and professional memberships*** APM Project Management Qualification* PRINCE 2 Practitioner* Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner* APMG Change Management Practitioner* PMI Project Management ProfessionalThis role will be based on our client site in Helensburgh. Due to the nature of the role it will have access to restricted information which will require a sole UK National Citizen with SC clearance to meet the necessary security criteria.There is a requirement to be onsite to facilitate workshops, routine meetings and site visits and to engage with the wider team, this currently is a minimum of 2 days per week but could require more at specific times of the programme and should be flexible to facilitate this.There will also be some travel to central Glasgow and potentially external offices of contractors if necessary.**Umbrella Contractor only.**We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
