The role requires practical and technical skills, an understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to manage emergency breakdowns. As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a Senior Plant Support Technician to join our dynamic Facilities team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Norwich, Lots Advanced Structure.
Plant Support Engineers are required to look after the day-to-day maintenance activities of an engineering manufacturing business. In this role staff are required to carry out a key number of tasks and activities as described.
Flexible working is a major factor in this role, as plant support engineers have to cover early starts and other work patterns to suit the business.
There is also a requirement to participate in a call out rota for site emergencies.
There are also a number of individual tasks that are included and mentioned in the employee’s annual appraisal. These could be regular items or in some cases a one off requirement.
