Job summary
A leading robotics company in Grantham is seeking a Resident Maintenance Engineer to perform maintenance on various automated machines and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role involves working in cold environments and requires effective communication skills. Training will be provided for candidates with a keen interest in automated machinery. - Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include cranes; conveyors; vertical lifts; monorail system and a deep freeze high bay.
- Working in a cold environment (-18 degrees)
- To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Prioritise system faults.
- To ensure quality of output at all times.
- To accurately record all work undertaken.
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
- An apprentice trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided.
- Happy to work at heights.
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience of working with a CMMS system.
