A local government organization in Kidderminster is seeking a Corporate Health and Safety Advisor to deliver effective health and safety management, provide professional advice, and ensure compliance with legislation. The role requires at least three years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a NEBOSH Diploma. Applicants must possess a full UK driving licence. This role promotes a positive safety culture within the Council and involves collaboration across departments.
This is a varied role, providing professional advice and coordination across all aspects of health, safety, fire and welfare throughout the Council. You will act as the Council’s competent person under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and work closely with services, managers, trade union representatives and senior leaders to promote a positive and practical health and safety culture.
