Job summary
An organization in waste management in Scotland is seeking a dedicated individual for waste collection and disposal. The role encompasses walking extensive distances daily and adhering to council policies. Candidates must provide a reference from their recent employer and be willing to work in various weather conditions. This position is crucial for maintaining the quality of service delivery in Aberdeenshire while ensuring proper waste management practices are followed. Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of recyclable and residual waste according to Council policies.
- Must be able to walk 15+ miles per day in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrate commitment to quality service delivery.
To collect and dispose of recyclable and residual waste as presented by the property owners of Aberdeenshire, in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:45 or Tuesday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:45. Must be able to walk 15 plus miles per day in all weather conditions. May be required to work public holidays.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
