Job summary
A leading apprenticeship provider in the United Kingdom is offering an opportunity for a logistics support apprenticeship. The role involves collating production data, generating reports, and managing communications between departments. Candidates will develop their skills through in-person workshops and on-the-job training. Successful candidates may progress their careers within the company. Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word, are essential. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in a vital industry.
Qualifications
- Completion of required workshops related to logistics.
- Confidence in communicating via phone and video calls.
Responsibilities
- Support the logistics process and collate production data.
- Generate reports on information and production processes.
- Act as a support link between operational departments.
- Responsible for production data collection and inputting.
- Respond to emails and process orders professionally.
- Update management on potential delays.
- Maintain database records and spreadsheets.
Skills
To support the day to day running of the logistic process, collating production data and generating reports based upon the information and production processes of the Pinxton and Sutton production facilities.
- Act as a support link between all operational departments to help incorporate systems and procedures into practice
- Responsible for the production data collection and inputting processes
- Responding to emails/telephone contacts and processing orders in a timely and professional manner
- Work to given deadlines/targets and update Management of any potential delays
- Keeping database records and spreadsheets up to date
- Strong IT Skills- proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Adhere to company quality/H&S standards following QA training
- Ability to interact and co-operate with all company employees
- Confident with internal and external phone/Teams video calls and meetings where required

- We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our designated training site/campus. These workshops are carefully designed to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship programme
