A local anti-poverty charity in Northern Ireland is seeking a Compassion Support Manager & Safeguarding Lead. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage the Open Door project and provide support to vulnerable individuals and families. The successful candidate will oversee service delivery and hold responsibilities as the Safeguarding Lead. A commitment to social justice and experience in community service are essential. As an anti-poverty charity Vineyard Compassion are employing a new staff member to be our Compassion Support Manager & Safeguarding Lead.
The Compassion Support Manager (& Safeguarding Lead) will carry responsibility for the vision, leadership, delivery and development of the Open Door project and wider Compassion Support Services (person centred support). They will lead, develop, and manage staff and service delivery to offer practical help and emotional support to vulnerable individuals and families in the community who are experiencing a range of complex needs. They will also carry responsibility as the VC Safeguarding Lead, both functioning as a Designated Safeguarding Officer and overseeing the other DSO’s.
