An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team in the delightful village of Coggeshall. The post is for 4 or 5 days, depending on preference. St Peter's Church of England Primary School is a vibrant school with a friendly and supportive staff and fantastic children. We embrace a Trauma Perceptive Practice (compassion & kindness, hope, connection and belonging) and place a high value on inclusion.

Level 1b HLTAs will be expected to deliver lessons, assisting with preparing and planning lessons as required.

• Educated to GCSE A-C (or equivalent) or above in English and Maths;
• Able to provide evidence of HLTA training or be prepared to work towards this;
• A flexible, organised and enthusiastic team player;
• Able to show initiative and work independently;
• Passionate about learning and have the ability to encourage our children to become happy, confident learners;
• Committed to trauma perceptive practice;
• Someone who believes in learning without limits and that every child can succeed;
• A strong team member who works well with other staff and members of the school community;
• Able to maintain a calm, purposeful working environment built on mutual respect;
• Able to forge and maintain positive relationships with our children and their families.
