Schedule

Monday to Thursday (26 hours a week – 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

OR

Monday to Friday (32.5 hours a week – 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Term time only (38 weeks per year)

Pay Band

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team in the delightful village of Coggeshall. The post is for 4 or 5 days, depending on preference. St Peter's Church of England Primary School is a vibrant school with a friendly and supportive staff and fantastic children. The successful applicant will have a 'solution-based' attitude, will emanate positivity, and will uphold our Christian values: Aspire, Care, Empower. Responsibilities

Level 1b HLTAs will be expected to deliver lessons, assisting with preparing and planning lessons as required.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Educated to GCSE A-C (or equivalent) or above in English and Maths;
  • Able to provide evidence of HLTA training or be prepared to work towards this;
  • A flexible, organised and enthusiastic team player;
  • Able to show initiative and work independently;
  • Passionate about learning and have the ability to encourage our children to become happy, confident learners;
  • Committed to trauma perceptive practice;
  • Someone who believes in learning without limits and that every child can succeed;
  • A strong team member who works well with other staff and members of the school community;
  • Able to maintain a calm, purposeful working environment built on mutual respect;
  • Able to forge and maintain positive relationships with our children and their families.
