Job summary
A reputable care organization in Macclesfield is looking for caring individuals for overnight support roles. The position involves assisting residents with bedtime routines and providing companionship during the night, especially for elderly individuals. Ideal candidates will have a Care Certificate or relevant experience in dementia care, and will help maintain a comfortable environment. Unmatched commitment to quality care is essential. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with bedtime routines.
- Offer reassurance and companionship to residents at night.
- Monitor wellbeing and manage medication for residents.

Education
You’ll be working in one of our welcoming Households, alongside a friendly and dedicated team. Your role will be to support residents with their overnight needs, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable and cared for.
Expected Hours:
- 6.5 hours per week
- Weekend shifts only
- Must be available to attend a paid 4-day induction (held over 2 weeks, 2 full days per week)
- Provide personal care and support with bedtime routines
- Offer reassurance and companionship to residents who wake during the night
- Assist with medication management and wellbeing monitoring
- Support residents living with dementia with sensitivity and understanding
- Help maintain a peaceful, homely environment
- Upload daily notes and updates to care plans
- A minimum of a Care Certificate or Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care
- Experience in elderly or dementia care
- A warm, caring nature and a person-centred approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, calm and able to work independently
