Casual Personal Care Assistant £13.71/hr in Dudley - Dudley - DY3
Are you a care assistant looking to make a real difference in someone’s life? We have an opportunity for a friendly care assistant to join one of our small, supportive teams in the Wombourne area. This is a varied but really rewarding role where no two days are the same!
Although MDN experience is desirable, the right person for this role will have a general care background and a desire to progress into complex care or someone already working in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be proactive and use their initiative whilst on shift to support the team in this busy role.
A personal message from our client: I’m 69 and have lived in Wombourne my whole life. I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease back in 2019. I live in an adapted bungalow and have a wonderful team of carers that provide me with 24hr care. I also have a supportive family. My 3 children and 3 grandchildren visit me regularly along with my friends and other family members. I’m a kind and friendly lady who despite everything I have been through, tries my best to have a positive attitude towards life.
I require kind-hearted, considerate, pro-active carers who can help to cover shifts, holidays and absence. You will be working 1:1 and also alongside another carer for 1-2hr double ups. We have contracted hours available but also have space for anyone looking for bank shifts.
About Salvere Support: we support individual clients in their own homes. Our small teams of Personal Assistants provide bespoke, person centered care to really make a difference in our clients lives. You’ll only be working with one client which enables you to truly get to know them and make a meaningful difference each day.
“The biggest difference I found from moving to a PA role from domiciliary care was actually having the time to give exceptional one-on-one care. I no longer feel rushed and I’m able to do my job to the best of my ability.”
