Job summary
A legal firm in Gillingham is seeking a Commercial Paralegal or Legal Assistant to support lawyers in commercial property and corporate matters. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with a strong legal academic background who want to develop practical skills. You will assist with legal documentation, client interaction, and case management in a supportive environment, contributing to the success of the department.
Qualifications
- A strong academic background with a Law Degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- An interest in commercial property and corporate work.
- Strong IT skills and a good working knowledge of Word and case management systems.
Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors with the progression of commercial property and corporate matters.
- Preparing first drafts of legal documents, contracts, and reports.
- Conducting legal research and presenting findings clearly.
- Supporting due diligence processes.
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files in accordance with firm procedures.
