We are now seeking an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join our supportive department and gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of property transactions.

What You'll Do

As a Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer at our client’s law firm practice, you will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, handling all aspects of residential conveyancing. Your work will include:

  • Sales and purchases
  • Deeds of Variation
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • Right to Buy
  • Shared ownership schemes
  • Lease extensions

You will be responsible for ensuring that transactions progress efficiently and that clients receive an excellent service throughout.

A relevant qualification (Solicitor, CILEx, or CLC) is desirable, though experienced fee earners with proven caseload management will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Independently manage your caseload as an experienced Residential Property Fee Earner.
  • Progress files in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
  • Use strong organisational skills and IT competency, including web‑based case management systems.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, understanding practice targets and generating fee income in line with expectations.
  • Provide support, guidance, and development to assistants and paralegals.
  • Handle freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership matters.
  • Respond to client enquiries professionally in person, by phone, and through remote channels.

What We Offer

Working at our client’s law firm means being part of a firm that values its people and invests in their future. Our employees have opportunities to grow through both Leadership and Technical career pathways.

We offer a competitive salary along with an excellent benefits package, including:

  • Option to buy or sell up to 3 days of annual leave
  • Payment of professional subscriptions
  • Additional leave over the Christmas shutdown
  • Incentive schemes and referral rewards
  • Your birthday off, plus a birthday gift voucher
  • Paycare Health Cash Scheme
  • Discounted legal services
  • Invitations to regular social events and office activities
  • Dress‑down and treat day on the last Friday of each month
