Job summary
A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Diabetes Nurse Educator for a field-based role covering Wales. The ideal candidate will deliver effective training to healthcare professionals and patients regarding diabetes management and the use of continuous glucose monitoring systems. Strong expertise as a Registered Nurse and experience in diabetes education are required. This role offers a 12-month contract with a competitive salary, and candidates must have a full UK driving license and their own vehicle.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN).
- Experience delivering training to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Strong understanding of diabetes management.

- Train patients and caregivers on CGM system usage.
- Provide expert technical guidance on continuous glucose monitoring.

Education
CK Group is recruiting a Diabetes Nurse Educator for a 12‑month contract working field‑based across Wales. Salary up to £185 PAYE or £230 Umbrella (inside IR35).
- Deliver engaging & effective training to healthcare professionals & patients.
- Train patients & caregivers on use of a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system to enable effective diabetes management.
- Provide expert technical guidance & support on use and management of continuous glucose monitoring.
- Build strong relationships with patients & key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate training records & documentation in the CRM system.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) with previous experience as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN).
- Experience delivering training to both healthcare professionals & patients in group and individual settings.
- Strong understanding of diabetes management, including medication, monitoring, and lifestyle interventions.
- Familiarity with NHS structures and processes in both primary and secondary care.
- Must have full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Field‑based role covering Wales.
Contract basis 12 months.
Eligibility to work in the UK required. Basic DBS check may be required.
