A small, innovative startup based in the UK is looking for a software developer to enhance their open core platform. You will be working on coding, producing documentation, and contributing ideas to improve user experiences. Ideal candidates will hold a strong academic background in a scientific area and have proficiency in Java.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in any numeric or scientific discipline.
- Proficiency in Java, not enterprise-focused.
- Experience with socket-level network programming.
Responsibilities
- Contribute improvements and new features to the open source codebase.
- Write efficient, robust, and well-tested code.
- Produce documentation and tutorials.
