IT Support Engineer – Crossfit Sandyford
3‑Month Contract | East Kilbride | Inside IR35 | On‑Site
We’re looking for an on‑site IT Support Engineer to support 60–70 users across hardware, software, applications and basic networking. You will be the sole on‑site IT presence, backed by a remote infrastructure team for escalations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st/2nd line support for laptops, desktops, Windows 10/11, O365, Teams and business applications.
- Handle incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
- Support onboarding/off‑boarding, account setup and device deployment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain label printers, scanners, network points, WiFi, and routers.
- Install, configure and decommission end‑user devices.
- Provide basic network support, including patching and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Assist with hardware repair, data migration, and vendor coordination.
- Manage inventory and stock of IT equipment.
- Handle IT equipment disposal following internal processes.
- Support global IT teams with local tasks.
- Create and update knowledge base articles for end‑users.
- Conduct proactive walk‑arounds and user engagement on‑site.
We’re Looking For
- Solid experience as an IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Analyst.
- Comfortable working independently as the sole on‑site engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, O365, Teams and common enterprise software.
- Confident troubleshooting hardware and basic networking issues.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and user‑facing skills.
