A dynamic technology support company in Ramsgate is seeking a Trainee IT Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include responding to support requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with user account management. Qualifications

  • A passion for IT & Technology.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic computer troubleshooting.
  • Qualification in IT would be preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Assist with user account management, including creating and managing user profiles.
  • Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with IT team members for timely issue resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure user satisfaction.

Salary: £25,000 per annum plus bonus & profit share (30K OTE)

Job Type: Full time/permanent

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating more complex problems to the appropriate team
  • Assist with user account management, including creating and managing user profiles and permissions
  • Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure user satisfaction with technical support services
