An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Wirral Public Health team for a Public Health Quality Assurance Officer. In this vital role, you’ll be at the heart of our business support team providing business and administrative support to the Public Health team. This is a permanent role, working to the Commissioning and Business Manager, alongside a small operations support team.

About The Role

You will provide day‑to‑day administrative support to Public Health managers and officers. This will include facilitating meetings with internal and external partners, managing correspondence, scheduling and document preparation and ensuring that accurate records, databases, and filing systems for meetings, contracts and projects are maintained.

You will support procurement processes, contract management, and compliance monitoring and support financial administration, such as invoice processing and budget tracking. You will be a key point of contact for providers, partners, and other Council departments and will be expected to respond to queries promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary.
