Job summary
A leading IT Services company in the United Kingdom seeks an L2 IT Infrastructure & Managed Services Engineer. This role involves providing advanced technical support across server, network, cloud, security, and end-user technologies. Responsibilities include managing Windows and Linux servers, troubleshooting network issues, implementing IT security controls, and providing desktop support. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset, along with experience in relevant technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration with experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of network infrastructure at a CCNA level.
- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Windows & Linux servers in a managed services environment.
- Troubleshoot L2-level network issues and manage VLANs, STP, ACLs.
- Implement security controls and respond to security alerts.
