Job summary
A technology consulting firm in Greater London is seeking a PMO Manager to establish and oversee PMO processes in alignment with waterfall methodologies. The role requires strong independent working capability and experience in PMO management, along with data literacy and a background in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will lead governance and facilitate regular project meetings. This is a key position for ensuring successful program delivery and robust management frameworks.
Qualifications
- Experience working independently within a PMO.
- Demonstrable PMO management and build experience.
- Operational delivery and strategic expertise.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the PMO, aligning with methodologies.
- Develop terms of reference for the PMO function.
- Ensure processes for document and risk management.
Skills
- Establish and manage the PMO, ensuring alignment with waterfall methodologies and client-specific requirements.
- Develop and implement terms of reference for the the PMO function.
- Ensure robust processes are in place for document management, risk and issue management, schedule management, and change management.
- Lead program cadence activities, including governance, scheduling and facilitating regular meetings, project reviews, and progress updates.
- Drives the implementation of tooling to automate PMO activities.
- Experience working independently within PMO
- Demonstrable PMO management and build experience
- Operational delivery and strategic expertise
- Competent data literacy with ability to analyse, interpret and present data confidently
- Previous financial services industry experience
