We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our standards. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. The Head Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining food safety standards, managing staff, and creating innovative menus that delight our guests.

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Oversee all food production activities, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
• Develop and implement innovative menus in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences.
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and adherence to portion control.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor kitchen inventory levels, controlling waste and minimising costs.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, promoting professional development within the team.
• Ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours, including serving guests when necessary.
• Collaborate with management on budgeting, planning, and special event catering.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment.
• Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation.
• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Previous restaurant experience is essential, with familiarity in hospitality settings preferred.
• Skills in cooking, food presentation, and menu development are required.
• Experience in managing kitchen operations during busy service periods is highly desirable.
