A manufacturing recruitment agency in North Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead their production team. The role involves overseeing safety and quality standards, coordinating with various departments, and achieving production targets. Are you an experienced Shift Supervisor who is looking to develop or are you an experienced Manager from the manufacturing sector? My client is looking for a Shift Manager to join their team at their manufacturing facility in North Yorkshire. Reporting in to the Operations Manager this is a permanent site based position offering competitive salary and benefits.
The successful Shift Manager will be responsible for:
The ideal candidate will have some previous relevant experience in a similar role ideally from within the food manufacturing sector, however this is not essential. You must have experience of managing a team and coaching and developing a team. Level 2 or 3 Food Safety would also be beneficial.
This role offers a competitive salary up to £40k and would be working off season Monday – Friday: 6am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm rotating shifts (8-hour shift) and peak season.
7 days working pattern, both days and nights: 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am (4 days on, 2 off, 4 nights on, 2 off) and the business is commutable from Selby, Tadcaster, Malton, York, Pocklington and surrounding areas.
