A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Smart Repairer at our High Ercall site. Utilising our body shop facilities, the successful candidate will carry out bodywork repairs on new vehicles processed through our preparation centre.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out bodywork and interior repairs on vehicles requiring rectification.
• Prioritise repairs in conjunction with delivery dates.
• Order materials based on work undertaken, keeping a stock record of all items used.
• Ensure all paint facilities (paint booths) are complaint and in good service condition.
• Update internal systems.
• Provide guidelines on overall time scales on repairs to manage expectations.
• Provide a work flow to enable the site to schedule vehicle for repair.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Good knowledge and experience of vehicle preparation and standards.
• Good organisational skills.
• Be able to carry out smart repairs as listed:

• Dent removal (desired but not essential).
• Polishing (scratch and blemish removal).
• Alloy wheel touch in and paint.
• Wet paint repair – Be able to do local paint repairs, including, prep, masking, spray painting and polishing to high standard.
• Bumper repairs.
• Interior repairs, including textured repairs to trim panels.
