Job summary
A notable events management company is seeking an experienced Events Manager to oversee events at the prestigious Natural History Museum in London. This role involves leading on-site event operations, managing logistics, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for service. A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum with an array of employee benefits is offered.

Responsibilities
- Operationally lead on site events.
- Manage catering logistics and event preparations.
- Ensure inquiries and client feedback are handled professionally.
- Work towards improving sales and service.
- Lead and motivate the team through evaluations and training.
- Manage financial and budget elements including forecasting.
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join the Benugo team at the famous Natural History Museum.
The successful candidate will manage a range of events, from the initial enquiry/planning stage through to the successful execution of the event on the day and follow up.
Salary from: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + bonus
Contract: Full Time/ Permanent
Shifts: 5 days out of 8, includes early morning and evenings
- To operationally lead on site events
- To manage catering logistics, including event file handling, event briefing sheet and service plans
- To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
- To continuously work towards improving sales and service
- To lead and motivate the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoring
- Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire
- Flexibility to work on events as and when required
- Passion for food and wine is a plus!
