MyDataValue is a high-growth, AI-driven hospitality tech platform with a proven product and real revenue. Our platform, Sisi, is an AI assistant that helps vacation rental owners boost their Booking.com revenue by an average of 22% by automating complex ranking, promotions, and channel optimization. Unlike most early-stage startups, we have already achieved £100k in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) with month-on-month growth, a validated business model, and investment from angels. We are a lean team of two founders, preparing to scale to Airbnb and Expedia, and we are now seeking our first technical partner to join us in building the future of hospitality tech.

As the first technical hire, you will have end-to-end ownership. You will be responsible for scaling our backend, managing high-volume data systems, and ensuring we can ship robust features quickly to support our expansion.

• Design, build, and ship critical features using our Python (Django) and PostgreSQL stack, ensuring the system can handle our growth and new market expansions.


• Own and optimize our enterprise-level data scraping and browser automation systems, handling thousands of requests per second to gather competitive intelligence and market signals.


• Lead the development of our Chrome extension and future integrations that connect our AI platform directly to customer accounts on Booking.com, Airbnb, and Expedia.


• While this is a 70% backend / 30% frontend role, you will be willing and able to jump into our React/Tailwind CSS frontend to build complete, user-facing features.


• Work pragmatically with modern AI coding tools (ChatGPT/Copilot) to accelerate development and focus on solving the core, complex logic that drives value for our customers.

• You have startup experience as a founder or an early employee. You are motivated by solving customer problems and driving business outcomes, not just writing code.


• You possess deep expertise in Python and have hands-on experience with large-scale web scraping, proxies, and browser automation (e.g., Playwright).


• You know when to build a perfect system and when to ship a pragmatic solution. You crave direct responsibility and excel at taking ideas from conception to deployment with minimal oversight.


• You are located in the United Kingdom and are open to occasional in-person meetings with the founders in London or Leeds to collaborate and brainstorm.

• You are not starting from zero. You will be scaling a platform with paying customers, 0% churn, and proven revenue growth.


• Receive up to 2% in equity options (4-year vesting) at a ground-floor valuation, with the company targeting a £5-10m valuation in its next fundraise.


• Move beyond standard CRUD apps. Tackle challenges in high-volume data processing, AI-assisted automation (MCP), and reverse-engineering for public data.


• As the technical lead, your decisions will directly shape the company’s technology, product, and future success.

• Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 per year (dependent on experience).


• Equity: 0.5% – 2.0% in equity options.


• Location: Fully remote within the UK, with occasional in-person meet-ups.
