Job summary
A local government authority in Cannock is seeking a Housing Policy, Performance and Complaints Officer. In this role, you will lead research, develop strategies, and collect data for performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will hold a degree and possess experience in policy management and an understanding of housing issues. This permanent position offers a salary of £32,597 - £36,363 and includes various benefits, such as flexible working hours and a local government pension scheme.

- Degree (or equivalent) in a related subject.
- Understanding of current housing issues and social housing.
- Experience of working in policy, performance or complaint management.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with an ability to switch between tasks.

- Ability to understand complex issues and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the work of the Housing Services team.
- Lead on the research and development of strategies and policies.
- Collect robust and accurate data to monitor performance.
- Administer the complaint handling function for the Housing department.
