A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support the Distribution ED2 price control period. You will manage construction projects for the upgrade of electricity networks, ensuring they meet safety and budget standards. Ideal candidates will have experience managing substation projects and possess engineering qualifications. The role involves travel across various locations and offers flexible working options, along with comprehensive benefits to support your wellbeing and family needs.
Base Location: Perth, Inverness, Aberdeen, Orkney
Salary: £61,620 - £72,592 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available.
SSEN is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team in supporting the Distribution ED2 price control period. In this role, you will help deliver projects that enable the transition to Net Zero by overseeing the upgrade and replacement of our electricity network infrastructure.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget – while aligning with the changing needs and expectations of our customers.
This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work‑related travel.
The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.
A valid driving licence is essential.
