Job Description

Oversees execution and completion of projects. Manages client relationship ensuring customer satisfaction. Oversees performance of the installation and client acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, or system integration projects or engagements. Provides budget analysis, labor planning, and coordination of activities between client and company personnel. Typically utilizes management skills more than technical skills. Serves as mediator to internal issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to clients. Monitors project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible to the sponsor/s for the project success as defined in the project charter.
  • Responsible for the management of relationships with all stakeholders of the project, including the communication, information provisioning, and expectations management.
  • Responsible for managing project within agreed contractual conditions and managing commercial and technical risks and opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, tracking costs, and analysing variances to meet or exceed bid margins.
  • Attending monthly financial meeting to present project financial progress.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of the project with the support of the cross functional project team.
The Individual
  • Degree in Engineering (preferred), Information Technology or Business.
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience working with multi-disciplined engineering teams, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of engineering or manufacturing processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work across diverse personalities and agendas at various seniority levels across organizations to achieve project goals.
  • Able to work within a multi-discipline, cross-functional team across the eastern hemisphere.
  • Experience with estimating, planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities in a technical environment.
  • Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverables.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Proven financial, analytical, and budgeting ability with a strong business acumen.
  • Competency in using standard project management tools.
  • Ability to apply aspects of project management, engineering and quality concepts to solve practical business problems.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
  • Some experience with SAP or IFS ERP systems.
  • Able to work within an ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System.
  • Strong team player.
  • Working towards or achieved a Project Management Qualification APM, PMI or Prince 2.
