Band 3 Support Worker
Job summary
A healthcare provider in Kinson is seeking experienced Band 3 Support Workers for full-time roles across Poole and Bournemouth. This position focuses on assisting individuals with mental health conditions in their daily activities, while promoting their independence and well-being. Candidates must have PMVA certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to work throughout the week, including nights. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from £16.21 to £23 depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with mental health conditions in daily living activities.
- Contribute to the assessment of individuals’ needs and care plans.
- Observe and monitor the mental and physical health of service users.

- Assist individuals with mental health conditions in their daily living activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Contribute to the assessment of individuals’ needs and assist in developing, reviewing, and updating care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Observe and monitor the mental and physical health of service users, identifying any concerns or risks, and report these to senior staff or mental health professionals.
- Assist in managing crisis situations, including de-escalating difficult or challenging behaviors in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and organizational policies.
- Should have PMVA
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to commit to a full-time weekday schedule
Contract Length: Continuous
Schedule: Weekdays and Night (Monday–Sunday)
£16.21 – £23/hour
