Job description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior to manage all commercial aspects of ongoing framework projects in the Doncaster area. You’ll work closely with the delivery team, ensuring contractual compliance, cost control, and risk management while supporting client relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Duties
  • Lead commercial activities across project lifecycle, including procurement, cost control, and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage subcontract packages, tender evaluations, and final accounts.
  • Maximise cash flow through timely valuations and invoicing.
  • Monitor resources and costs to meet or exceed project targets.
  • Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and change control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain accurate records.
  • Support carbon reduction and sustainability objectives.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and financial reporting.
  • Specific use of NEC Contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Expertise within highways and civil projects would be beneficial.
